PRIMIGENIA MEXICAN VANILLA:
From harvest to extraction, the full process is precisely defined. Each stage is carefully supervised and controlled on site. By boiling the pods, we achieve gentle sterilisation. During sweating, the vanilla pods are heated in the sun and then wrapped to initialise the natural formation of vanillin. In every batch, the natural vanillin content is checked by an independent laboratory. The pods are then sun-dried for about 90 days until they reach the desired degree of dryness. With this gentle “PRIMIGENIA method” it is possible to produce concentrations of up to 10 times.
Investments in on-site planting material and infrastructure are made on an ongoing basis. In the areas of cultivation and processing, technical knowledge is constantly kept up to date. At the local level, environmental management ensures a resource-saving income from agriculture.
